The All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed its readiness to receive Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State next month.

Its National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting yesterday in Jos.

According to him, the party is going to organise a colourful reception to show that the entire state is now APC with his coming on board.

He said Mutfwang’s joining the APC would further consolidate and strengthen the party in the state.

Yilwatda said he is interested in everybody that matters in the country who wants to join the party, adding that he will ensure the APC wins future elections from top to bottom.

Also speaking, Senator Simon Lalong praised party members for their resilience, faithfulness and support to the APC in the state.

He allayed prevailing fears, describing them as unnecessary.

In his welcome remarks, Rufus Bature, the State Chairman of the party, pledged that APC members would continue to respect the decisions of their leaders.

In a vote of thanks, the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the party in the state, Amb. Danladi Wuyep expressed delight with the turnout.
