The creator and host of the popular Yoruba language quiz show, Masoyinbo, Olalekan Fabilola, has hinted that President Bola Tinubu could appear on the programme after sharing a fan’s request asking him to feature the Nigerian leader.
Fabilola, popularly known as “Ọlálékàn,” shared the request in a post on his X handle on Saturday, saying he receives similar messages from fans every day.
“I get message like this every day, at least 20 a day — nothing is impossible. Baba @officialABAT @NGRPresident,” he wrote.
The post included a screenshot of a message from a fan that read, “Oluko, e jowo e ba wa gbe President Bola Tinubu wa si Masoyinbo,” which translates to, “Teacher, please bring President Bola Tinubu to Masoyinbo.”

Although Fabilola did not confirm whether Tinubu would appear on the programme, his response, “Nothing is impossible,” sparked reactions from followers who interpreted it as a sign that the invitation could happen.
Masoyinbo, which means “Don’t Speak English,” is a Yoruba language game show created and hosted by Fabilola to promote the use and preservation of the Yoruba language and culture.
The programme challenges contestants to answer 10 questions entirely in Yoruba without using English or other foreign languages. Participants who successfully complete the challenge stand a chance of winning a cash prize.
The show has featured several prominent Nigerians, including actress Funke Akindele, rapper Falz, comedian Ali Baba, actors Femi Adebayo and Lateef Adedimeji, and Fuji musician Saheed Osupa.
Broadcast on platforms including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and DStv, Masoyinbo has gained popularity for combining entertainment with efforts to preserve Yoruba language and cultural heritage.
