A scholar and author, Dr Ayokunnu Olowoporoku, has unveiled two new books aimed at helping individuals unlock their potential, remain focused and achieve purposeful success.
The books, titled ‘Lifewire: Philosophies for Daily Living’ and ‘See it, Say it, Do it: A 3-Step Guide to Achieving Success’, are billed for public presentation on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the AGIP Recital Hall, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
According to the author, the books were inspired by deep reflection, years of observation and a desire to contribute practical and enduring ideas capable of transforming lives.
Olowoporoku said many individuals and organisations failed to achieve their goals because they lost focus and lacked clarity of purpose.
He said, “I felt compelled to contribute something meaningful, practical, and enduring; something capable of inspiring clarity, purpose, courage, and intentional living.”
Speaking on the inspiration behind the publications, he added, “These two books were born from deep reflection, lived experience, years of observation, and an enduring passion for human transformation.”
On ‘Lifewire: Philosophies for Daily Living’, the author explained that the book was written to challenge conventional thinking and inspire wisdom-driven living.
“It was written to awaken the mind and enrich the human spirit. It is a collection of profound reflections and life philosophies designed to challenge conventional thinking, encourage self-awareness, and inspire wisdom-driven living.
“I have always believed that many people possess potential they never fully discover because they lack reflective guidance and inner awakening.
“This book was therefore written to serve as a daily companion for thoughtful living, resilience, discipline, growth, and purposeful success,” he said.
Speaking on the second book, Olowoporoku said it was inspired by the need to bridge the gap between dreams and execution.
“The book emerged from a different but complementary inspiration.
“Over the years, I have encountered countless individuals with dreams, visions, and ambitions, yet many remain trapped between intention and execution.
“This book simplifies achievement into a powerful three-step philosophy: vision, declaration, and action.
“Success begins when people can first see possibility, confidently say what they believe, and courageously do what is necessary to transform aspiration into reality,” he added.
The author described the books as instruments designed to inspire transformation and personal growth, saying, “They were written not merely to be read, but to provoke thought, inspire change, ignite confidence, and empower individuals to become the best versions of themselves.”
Olowoporoku expressed hope that every reader will encounter these books not simply as publications but as instruments of awakening, empowerment, and lasting personal impact.
“Above all, I am the first beneficiary of the teachings in these books,” he said.
Olowoporoku is a PhD holder recognised for his contributions to higher education, research supervision, mentorship and enterprise development.
