Rivers State Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd), has disclaim a purported special report on social media and other platforms stating that he has approved the recruitment of 10,000 qualified graduates and non graduates into the Rivers State civil service.
The report also stated that the recruitment portal will be opened for application midnight of Sunday, April 13. The statement was claimed to have been signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Lucky Worika.
But in a statement, the Ag. Head of the Rivers State Civil Service, Dr. Inyingi Brown, described the announcement as fake and urged the public to ignore it.She stated that an appropriate information will be released by the Rivers State Civil Service Commission when it falls due.
