Nigerian teenager Imran Musa has completed a move to Swedish top-flight club Hammarby in what is an important step in his young career, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 18-year-old winger joins the Stockholm-based side after impressing at Beyond Limits FA, one of Nigeria’s fast-rising academies.
The deal was confirmed on Wednesday, with Beyond Limits announcing that all arrangements had been agreed for Musa’s transfer to Sweden.
In a short statement, the club said: “All formalities have been agreed in principle for the transfer of our winger, Imran Musa to Hammarby . Wishing you the very best of luck in Europe.”

Musa, who was born in Kano State in 2008, is often regarded as one of the brightest young prospects from Nigeria. Predominantly right-footed, Musa plays mainly as a left winger and is known for his speed, sharp decision-making, and ability to read the game at a young age.
His journey in football began at Shield City FA in Kano before he moved to Beyond Limits in Ogun State. At Beyond Limits, he quickly developed into a key player and played an important role in the team’s success, including winning the 2025 TCC Cup and the 2025 Gothia Cup. Those performances helped put him on the radar of European scouts.
The transfer was handled by Fella Sports Management in partnership with Global Soccer Management, showing the growing structure around young Nigerian talents aiming to move abroad.
Imran Musa: Settling into life in Sweden
Although Musa has joined Hammarby, he will begin his time in Sweden with the club’s development side, Hammarby Talang FF. The team plays in Ettan Norra, the third tier of Swedish football, and is used to help young players adapt to the European style of play.

Musa will spend his first few weeks focusing on training and getting used to his new environment.
The youngster will hope to impress quickly with the reserve team and secure promotion to the senior side.
Hammarby have made a steady start to the season, picking up three points from their first two games. Musa could make his debut in upcoming fixtures against teams such as Piteå IF, Vasalund IF, and IF Karlstad in the coming weeks.
