Janet Ogundepo Federal tertiary hospitals in the south-west are still holding discussions on how to provide free caesarean sections for pregnant women five months after it was announced by the Federal Government. Findings by PUNCH Healthwise revealed that many of these hospitals had not begun the programme, although plans to get the services started were still in place. While some have established committees, others are finalising logistics before signing the Memorandum of Understanding.
