Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen made headlines after Galatasaray stunned Liverpool 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League group stage clash at RAMS Park on Tuesday night, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian striker, who returned to Galatasaray’s starting lineup after a month out with an ankle injury, scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to hand the Turkish champions their first win of the campaign.

His cool finish past Alisson Becker secured three vital points and sealed his place as Nigeria’s all-time leading scorer in the Champions League with 10 goals in 18 appearances.
