Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche could leave Getafe if the club receives a strong offer this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian midfielder is coming off a disappointing stint with Premier League side Crystal Palace. Recall that he had to join them last summer due to Getafe’s financial struggles.
This summer, the club’s financial situation appears to be improving, which would allow the Super Eagles star to settle in and play for Getafe next season.

However, he might still be set for a move. This comes as Getafe president Ángel Torres has admitted that they are open to selling Uche, provided they receive a suitable offer.
“Uche has a contract with Palace until the 30th, so we can’t do anything. He doesn’t mind coming back, and the coach wants him. If there’s an offer and we agree on it, we’ll sell him,” president Torres said.

Real Betis and Everton Are Eyeing Christantus Uche
Ángel Torres’ comments about Uche are understandable, as Getafe is a selling club that requires funds to comply with La Liga’s financial regulations.
Meanwhile, Real Betis and Everton have been credited with an interest in Uche. They were linked to the 23-year-old star as early as last month, but neither has made a credible move just yet.

However, Getafe coach José Bordalás will likely be against a sale, as Uche is one of his most trusted players. He is already set to lose Mauro Arambarri and Luis Milla this summer, so having Uche back would be a real boost.
The versatile Nigerian is currently valued at €12 million on Transfermarkt. This represents a significant increase in his value, as Getafe paid just €500k for him two years ago.
