Arsenal will be crowned English Premier League Champions in their final league match against Crystal Palace on Monday, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Gunners had help from Bournemouth, who held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at Vitality Stadium to prevent the title decider from going to Matchday 38.

French teenager Junior Kroupi scored his 13th league goal of the season in the 39th minute to ruffle the feathers of the City fans. Erling Haaland only responded with a goal in the 95th minute, but there was little time left for a comeback, confirming Arsenal’s first league title since the 2004 invincibles.

“Nobody is perfect, but for Arteta to soak up the pressure from outside and inside is worthy of praise. Do you know what it means to be criticised by Thierry Henry and even fans of the club? He still kept his head down to work,” Chukwuma Henry said.

“Talk is cheap. To build a team is not easy. He took his time to build a team, been managing them. He copied what his master [Guardiola] did, and it worked.”

“If Guardiola thinks he’s up to it, he should remain in the Premier League. We chased him out of England,” Godfrey Peter said.

“Finally, after 22 years, after all the suffering, we’re Champions. This is the beginning of many; this is our time,” he concluded.
