The Super Eagles of Nigeria players and coaching staff have departed Egypt for Morrocco, ahead of the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Soccernet.ng reports.

Recall that Nigeria had to camp in Cairo due to their AFCON preparatory game against Egypt on Tuesday. However, they have now departed for Egypt.

As usual with teams participating at the AFCON or even the World Cup, teams enter the host countries wearing their native attires.

As of Wednesday, countries like Comoros, Mali, and Zimbabwe landed in Morocco. Benin and Senegal also followed suit.

Now, ahead of their touchdown in Morocco, the Super Eagles wore their traditional outfit for the 2025 AFCON.

The Nigeria national team players and staff were dressed in deep green native attires. They wore a short-sleeved tunic with embroidery running down the chest. Then, they had matching trousers to go with it.

All the players wore native caps made from the same material. For their footwear, some of the players wore leather slip-ons, while others wore sneakers.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will kick off their AFCON 2025 journey with a game against Tanzania on December 23.
