Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has playfully teased her Super Eagles counterpart, Stanley Nwabali, regarding a potential move to her club Brighton and Hove Albion, Soccernet.ng reports.
Nwabali parted ways with Chippa United in February after a four-year stint with the club.
Given his high profile at the time and links to several top African clubs, his next move was expected to materialize almost immediately.

However, the 30-year-old remains a free agent. Over the past few months, he has been linked with various teams, including Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Simba FC, Raja Casablanca, and, most recently, an unnamed Saudi Arabian club.
This prolonged inactivity has unfortunately cost Nwabali his position as the Super Eagles’ first-choice goalkeeper, with Maduka Okoye stepping up to the plate. It has also dampened interest from potential suitors.
Nevertheless, it is expected that his prospects will improve this summer as clubs look to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.
Nnadozie Tips Stanley Nwabali to Join Brighton

In a new development, Nwabali has been playfully tipped for a move to England. In a recent video shared on social media, Nnadozie featured the Super Eagles star sporting a Brighton jersey, captioned with the intriguing message: “Next stop, England, Nwabali.”
In reality, a move to Brighton appears highly unlikely at this stage. There have been no formal links between the player and the Premier League side.
Also, given his age and the fact that he has never played in Europe, he would likely be viewed as falling short of the quality required to compete with Brighton’s current goalkeeper, Bart Verbruggen.

Ultimately, Nwabali’s immediate priority remains securing a new club this summer to revitalize his career. Perhaps, if he starts getting regular football, he could wrestle back his number 1 shirt with the Super Eagles.
