3. Ikechukwu Uche – 43 goals
Level with Finidi George on goals but across a longer career in Spain, Uche scored 43 times in 194 appearances spread across six different La Liga clubs, including a productive spell at Villarreal where he was a regular scorer in the early 2010s.
4. Kalu Uche – 38 goals
Ikechukwu’s compatriot Kalu Uche built a reputation as a reliable finisher during his time at Almería, Espanyol and Levante, finishing his La Liga career with 38 goals.
5. Mutiu Adepoju – 22 goals
Rounding out the top five is Mutiu Adepoju, another product of Nigeria’s 1990s golden generation, who scored 22 league goals during his time with Real Sociedad and Racing Santander.
