Coach Lovemore Fazili’s side will lean heavily on the pace and finishing of sisters Temwa and Tabitha Chawinga, with the Kansas City Current forward Temwa in particular seen as Malawi’s biggest threat on the counter.
History favours Nigeria heading in, with the sides having met only twice before, both during 2014 African Women’s Championship qualifying, with the Super Falcons drawing 1-1 away before winning 2-0 at home.
