Jubilation erupted at the Supreme Court complex in Abuja on Thursday following the court’s verdict recognising the David Mark-led faction of the African Democratic Congress as the leadership of the party.
In a series of videos circulating online, the supporters of the Mark-led leadership of the party were seen in celebration mood at the premises of the Supreme Court complex.
They were screaming the name of the party and the slogan saying “ADC, ADC, ADC Arise and Shine.”
PUNCH Online earlier reported that the Supreme Court set aside a “status quo ante bellum” order made in the protracted leadership crisis rocking the ADC, holding that the preservative directive could not validly subsist after proceedings had been concluded.
