The office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding has alerted the public to be wary of fraudsters issuing fake awards of contracts and requesting payments to individual accounts.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, in a statement on Wednesday, called on Nigerians to not only ignore such persons or organisations but also report them to security agencies in the country.
The Presidential aide insisted that her office does not charge any fee for awards, recognitions, or any form of engagement in the name of the school feeding programme.
“We do not ask individuals or organisations to make payments to individual accounts for any purpose related to our programs or activities. Any request for payment or issuance of awards in our name should be treated with caution,” she noted.
“Please report any suspicious activities or requests to the nearest Police station. We appreciate your cooperation and vigilance in this matter.”
