Portugal Coach Jorge Jesus has opened the door for Cristiano Ronaldo to return to the Portugal national team, saying the situation can still be resolved.

In a post obtained from Fabrizio Romano’s X post on Sunday, Jesus was quoted as saying, “For me, everything is open. Cris has to decide what he wants to do with his own life.”

He also described the issue surrounding Ronaldo as a misunderstanding and insisted that it would be easy to resolve.

“It was a misunderstanding and for me it’s easy to resolve this situation.

“There are no bad feelings with Cristiano. It’s easy to resolve, in my view.

“Ronaldo will decide what he wants to do. I am not the ine who decides this.

“I am NOT sad. It’s him deciding,” he added.

The comments keep the possibility of Ronaldo returning to Portugal open, with the final decision ultimately in the hands of the legendary forward.
