Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are preparing to battle close rivals Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for Victor Osimhen’s services, Soccernet.ng reports.
Since the turn of the year, Osimhen has been heavily linked with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. This is because both teams are planning significant shake-ups in their striker departments.
Barcelona are looking to sell Ferran Torres and then sign a top striker who Robert Lewandowski will support.

As for Atleti, they might lose Alexander Sorloth and Julian Alvarez in the summer, and they see Osimhen as the best possible replacement.
However, while these clubs are still mulling over a deal, their rivals Real Madrid are looking to step in.
According to Futbol Fichajes, Real Madrid are looking to sign a proper number 9 in the summer. This season, they have struggled across different areas of the pitch, and the attack could do with a major boost.
Real Madrid Get Price Tag For Victor Osimhen
Getting Victor Osimhen won’t be an easy task for Real Madrid. The Super Eagles star is currently one of the best strikers in the world, and he has proven his quality in Belgium, France, Italy, and now Turkey. At the international level, he has a healthy goal haul of 35 in 52 games.
A player of this quality won’t come cheap. Just last year, Galatasaray paid Napoli €70 million for his services. So, any club that wants his services will have to pay significantly more.
Previous reports have suggested that the Turkish giants would demand around €150 million for the 27-year-old marksman.
However, in a recent study by CIES, a platform that analyzes players, the Super Eagles star is actually worth €104.7 million. For a club like Real Madrid, this is an affordable fee.
Osimhen has a healthy goals-to-game ratio, and his speed would complement that of the other Real Madrid attackers. He would also present a solid option in aerial situations.
Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see if he eventually makes the move. Osimhen has consistently professed his love for Galatasaray. And previously, he admitted that he loves the Premier League. Still, the lure of playing for Real Madrid cannot be overemphasized.
