Across the Nigerian men’s and women’s teams, Victor Osimhen and Chiamaka Nnadozie are the joint highest-rated players in EA Sports FC 27, Soccernet.ng reports.
EA Sports have released their latest player ratings ahead of the launch of FC 27, allowing Nigerian football fans to see how the country’s biggest stars have been assessed in the new game.
For the first time in the ratings, there is no outright winner between Nigeria’s leading male and female footballers. Osimhen, the Galatasaray striker, has been handed an 85 Overall (OVR) rating, while Nnadozie, the Super Falcons goalkeeper, also comes in at 85 OVR.

EA’s official Nigeria ratings page lists Nnadozie first, followed by Osimhen, although both players have the same overall rating. Ademola Lookman is Nigeria’s third-highest-rated player at 83 OVR.
Nnadozie matches Osimhen at the top
The fact that Nnadozie sits alongside Osimhen at the summit is one of the most interesting aspects of Nigeria’s FC 27 ratings.
The Paris FC goalkeeper moved to Brighton & Hove Albion last summer and retains an 85 OVR rating in the new game.
Her card is particularly impressive in the technical categories. Nnadozie has 87 pace, 88 dribbling and 84 physicality, while EA gives her 63 defending.
Those numbers underline why she remains one of the most highly rated female goalkeepers in the game.
Her 88 dribbling rating is actually higher than Osimhen’s 78, although goalkeeper attributes need to be viewed differently from those of an outfield player.

Osimhen remains Nigeria’s highest-rated male player
Osimhen is still the highest-rated Nigerian men’s player in FC 27, despite dropping two points from his FC 26 rating.
The striker was rated 87 OVR in FC 26 but now comes in at 85. His new card has 89 pace, 84 shooting, 78 dribbling and 86 physicality.
That combination still makes the Galatasaray forward one of the most dangerous Nigerian attackers available in the game.
His 89 pace is particularly notable. Although it represents a decline from the 92 pace he received in FC 26, Osimhen remains comfortably among Nigeria’s quickest high-rated attacking options.
His 86 physicality is also the highest among Nigeria’s top three players and should make him a difficult striker to contain in Ultimate Team.

Lookman is third
Ademola Lookman is Nigeria’s third-highest-rated player at an OVR of 83. The Atletico Madrid forward has 86 pace, 83 shooting, 73 passing and 84 dribbling, with his 84 dribbling rating making him particularly attractive for players looking for an agile Nigerian attacker.
Lookman has also dropped by one point from his FC 26 rating of 84. The interesting part of the Nigerian rankings is the gap between the top three and the rest.
While Osimhen and Nnadozie are both rated 85, Lookman sits two points behind them at 83. The next-highest-rated players are Rasheedat Ajibade at 81, followed by Jennifer Echegini, Gift Monday and Alex Iwobi, all on 80.
Ajibade leads the next generation of Nigerian stars
Rasheedat Ajibade is the highest-rated Nigerian player outside the top three.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has an 81 OVR rating, with 87 pace, 79 shooting, 73 passing and 85 dribbling.
Her 85 dribbling makes her one of the most technically gifted Nigerian players in FC 27, while her 87 pace gives her another major advantage in-game.
Ajibade is also the highest-rated Nigerian female outfield player.
That puts her ahead of Echegini, who has an 80 OVR rating, and Gift Monday, who also comes in at 80. Asisat Oshoala is not included in FC 27 because her Saudi Arabian club, Al-Hilal, is not included in the officially licensed leagues featured in the game
