The Nigerian Law School has announced the commencement of its application process for the 2025 Bar Part I Course.
The application window will open on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, and close on Friday, August 19, 2025, per a notice signed on Wednesday by Aderonke O. Osho, Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration.
The programme will start at the institution’s headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, on Monday, September 2, 2024.
The Law School states that only Nigerian law graduates from Common Law nations whose legal programmes have been approved by the Council of Legal Education are eligible for the programme.
It also noted that degrees obtained via part-time study, Open University, Long Distance Learning, or online platforms are not eligible for consideration.
Prospective candidates are required to complete the application form available on the Nigerian Law School’s official website, www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng, and submit it to [email protected] on or before Friday, August 25, 2025.
Applicants are also urged to ensure that their academic transcripts and completed Forms B, B1, and B2 are sent from their university’s or employer’s official email to [email protected] no later than Friday, September 1, 2025.
It added that the subject of all emails should be the applicant’s name and application number.
The school also added that all application documents must be received within the stipulated time, as the school will not entertain late submission of documents.
It also advised applicants to note their Application Numbers, for access to their ad-mission status.
