Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu has reportedly completed a transfer from Esperance Tunis to Libyan club Al Ittihad.
Ogbelu has grown significantly since 2022, when he represented Nigeria at the U-20 FIFA World Cup. Just a year after that competition, he secured a transfer to Esperance, where he has been a regular for the side.
He has featured in 82 games for the club, with three goals and three assists to his name. He was also part of the squad for the last FIFA Club World Cup, featuring in all of their games during the competition.

Now, according to Micky Jnr, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder has completed his move to Libyan club Al Ittihad.

Al Ittihad have been very busy in the transfer market as they look to challenge on the continent and mount a domestic charge.
Recently, they have brought in players like Thembinkosi Lorch, Anatole Abang, Aziz Ki, and a few other top names from across the continent.
This is another opportunity for the 22-year-old midfielder to continue to develop his game and shine. Perhaps he can impress at Al Ittihad and earn an even bigger move in the next few years.
Ogbelu is a powerful player, who has a great work rate, as he covers every blade of grass. The 22-year-old is also a fine passer of the ball and is calm under pressure.
The former Flying Eagles star will be unveiled in the coming days, after which he will get straight to work for his new employers.
