Nigeria vs Mozambique team news and match build-up

Mozambique coach Francisco Conde has confirmed injury concerns ahead of kickoff. Nenê will miss the game, Edmilson remains a doubt pending late assessment, while Bruno Langa has been rested as a precaution. Calila, however, has recovered in time and is available.

Conde insists his squad remains united and fully committed, with younger players ready to step up.

Nigeria, on the other hand, are expected to stick with the core of the side that dominated the group stage, despite Cyriel Dessers returning to his club after picking up a knock that is expected to sideline him for 10 to 12 weeks. Ryan Alebiosu, who missed training due to injury, is also unlikely to feature against Mozambique today.
