American rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has finally addressed the growing speculation surrounding her personal life after she was recently spotted with Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, Soccernet.ng reports.
The one-time Grammy-winning star and the Udinese shot-stopper have become the subject of intense online discussion over the past few weeks following multiple public appearances together in Europe.
The rumours first emerged earlier this month when Cardi B and Okoye were seen sitting together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show in Paris. The Nigerian international was filmed helping the rapper to her seat before the pair were later seen laughing and chatting during the event.

Speculation intensified this week after another video surfaced showing both personalities enjoying a luxury dinner at Gio’s restaurant in The St. Regis hotel in Venice, Italy.

Although neither Cardi B nor Okoye displayed any public affection during the outing, their apparent comfort in each other’s company reignited rumours that the pair could be romantically involved.

Now, Cardi B appears to have responded to the frenzy. Speaking during a livestream on her Instagram page, the 33-year-old lamented the intense scrutiny surrounding her personal life and suggested that every move she makes quickly becomes public discussion.
“I’m really hip-hop’s Britney Spears. I am out here, feeling like motherf*****g Britney because let me tell you something right.
“I got all the tea on these celebrities, like I know who f*****g who and what they’re doing, all that s**t. But guess what? Nobody reports about it. You want to know why? Because nobody gives a f**k.
“But when it comes to me, the Brim, I can’t even pee in a motherf*****g cup, bi**h.
“You gotta take the good with the bad — it is what it is. People pay for this type of talk. Bringing the motherf*****g drama.”
Her comments quickly went viral on social media, with clips from the livestream accruing more than 2.6 million views within hours.
Are Cardi B and Maduka Okoye dating?
At the moment, there is no confirmation that Cardi B and Okoye are in a relationship.
However, fans continue to speculate after the pair were spotted together in both France and Italy within the space of a few weeks.
The rumours have been further fuelled by the fact that both personalities are currently believed to be single.
Cardi B recently ended her relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs, while Okoye has kept his private life largely away from the public eye despite his growing popularity among fans.
For now, neither the Super Eagles goalkeeper nor the American rapper has officially addressed the nature of their relationship.

Meanwhile, Maduka Okoye’s previous partner, model Jelicia Westhoff, shared a story on her Instagram page, which is now deleted, but the content was aimed at the former Watford goalkeeper, with whom she has a son, Isaiah Amiel Okoye.
She alleged that Okoye rarely calls or visits their 3-year-old son, and did not see the child while he was hospitalised in December 2025.
