Fulham head coach Marco Silva has revealed that the club’s decision to sign Oscar Bobb from Manchester City will not tamper with Samuel Chukwueze‘s future, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles star joined the Cottagers on a deadline-day loan move from AC Milan last summer.
While he had a slow start, he grew into life in London and has scored three goals and four assists in ten games for Marco Silva’s side.
However, the January transfer window has seen some shuffling happen in Fulham’s attack. Adama Traore, who spent most of his 271 minutes coming off the bench, joined West Ham United.
The three-time EFL Championship winners then forked out €31.2m to secure the services of Norwegian winger Oscar Bobb.

Marco Silva clarifies Samuel Chukwueze’s Fulham future
Prior to Fulham’s clash against Manchester United, the manager was quizzed about why he spent such a huge amount on Bobb.
“I’m very pleased, because I think it’s a very, very good move from us,” the Portuguese coach said in quotes relayed by the BBC.
“Since Adama left, or was coming close to leaving, I had some players in mind as targets, and Oscar was one of them for sure,” the ex-Watford coach continued.
“He’s a clear replacement for the player that left the club. It’s a great move from us. Very talented player, quality, individual quality as well.
“I have to congratulate the club and the board for the move and to be able to sign a player and to react in a way to replace a 30-year-old with a 22-year-old, for the present and the future too.
With Kevin and Harry Wilson as solid options for Fulham on the flanks, a position Alex Iwobi has played several times as well, questions were asked about what the future holds for Samuel Chukwueze at Craven Cottage.
“It’s a normal day for me. Everything is so clear; we have been completely aligned since the end of November.
“There’s time, we are very pleased with him [Chukwueze]. He’s been able to show quality.
“He’s a great lad, a nice boy. He’s adapting to what we need. We are going to have time to do it,” Marco Silva said about the Nigerian.
Despite losing his mother last week, Samuel Chukwueze played 79 minutes in Fulham’s game against Manchester United today.
