Feyenoord have made contact with Nigerian winger Daniel Job as the 20-year-old looks set to leave Norway this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Feyenoord head scout Micha Jansen was seen speaking with Job after a Kongsvinger training session in Norway on Friday, according to local newspaper Glåmdalen, per Voetbalprimeur. The meeting is the clearest sign yet that the Dutch club are considering a move for the attacker.
Job joined Kongsvinger in February 2026 after leaving Sarpsborg 08. The move was part of a deal that also saw Noa Williams go in the opposite direction. The Norwegian Football Federation lists the transfer as completed on 11 February, with Job cleared to play for Kongsvinger the following day.
The Nigerian has quickly become one of the most productive young attackers in Norway’s second tier. The youngster has managed seven goals and seven assists in 17 league appearances for Kongsvinger, across 1,424 minutes played in the 2026 campaign.

Job, who turns 21 next week, normally plays on the left wing but can also operate on the right or through the middle. He is right-footed and stands 1.74 metres tall. Transfermarkt currently values him at about €1m.
His performances have already attracted West Ham United and Serie A club Lecce. Reports from Sweden’s Expressen said both clubs had made offers of around €4m for the Nigerian, although it is not clear whether Kongsvinger accepted either proposal.
Job: Feyenoord in the race
The interest comes after a rapid rise for a player who only moved into senior Norwegian football in 2024.
Job came through Nigeria’s Future Pro Academy before joining Sarpsborg 08. He initially played for Sarpsborg’s reserve side and scored eight goals in 13 appearances before earning his chance with the first team. He made his Eliteserien debut in July that same year.
He also spent part of the 2025 season on loan at Egersund, where he scored three goals in 12 league appearances. He then returned to Sarpsborg before moving to Kongsvinger in February.
At Kongsvinger, Job has produced the numbers that have put him on the radar of clubs in England, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands. His seven goals include strikes in a 6-1 win at Sandnes Ulf and a goal and assist in a 5-1 victory over Sogndal.
Feyenoord have not been reported to have made a bid for Job. The significance of Friday’s meeting is that Jansen travelled to Norway and spoke directly with the player.
That does not confirm that a transfer is close, but it places Feyenoord alongside the clubs already watching a Nigerian winger whose value has risen sharply during his first full season at Kongsvinger.
