However, last week, he decided to join Galatasaray permanently, extending his stay after the club after his season-long loan transfer.

But Napoli proved to be a difficult nut to crack, as the club wanted to gain as much as possible from the sale of their most-prized asset.

Galatasaray put in multiple bids until they reached Napoli’s set release clause of €75 million. But both clubs have been hammering out the details of the deal since then.

Now, according to Buchi Laba, all the parties have now reached a compromise. Osimhen is due for a medical, after which he will officially become a Galatasaray player.

This automatically puts an end to speculations linking Osimhen with a transfer to the Saudi Arabian Pro League or Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool.

What are the details of Victor Osimhen’s transfer to Galatasaray?

Napoli set a release clause of €75 million for Victor Osimhen, and they stuck to it. So, Galatasaray will pay the Partenopeans €75 million, €40 million of which will be this summer before completing the remaining €35 over the next two years.

According to Buchi Laba, there is a 10% sell-off clause was included in the contract. This means that Napoli will get 10% of the fee whenever or if they sell Osimhen in future.

There were also talks that Napoli wanted to add a clause that will prevent a sale to another Italian club for the next two years, but that is not confirmed yet.
