De Bruyne leads Belgium to victory

Belgium produced a clinical display to beat Türkiye 3-0, with De Bruyne opening the scoring before adding a second spectacular goal.

UEFA reported that the Manchester City midfielder put Belgium ahead with a neat finish from the edge of the box.

Dodi Lukébakio then struck the woodwork twice as Belgium continued to threaten, while Türkiye’s Arda Güler caused problems with his movement and quick footwork.

De Bruyne eventually doubled Belgium’s advantage with a curling long-range effort before Romelu Lukaku completed the scoring with a close-range finish.

The victory keeps Belgium firmly in the Group A1 picture alongside France and Italy.

Lewandowski hits hat-trick

Robert Lewandowski scored three goals as Poland thrashed 10-man Romania 6-0 to claim their first victory in Group B4.

The Barcelona striker led Poland’s attacking display as they produced their biggest win of the night.

Sweden took the lead through Viktor Gyökeres before Kerim Alajbegović equalised for the hosts.
