Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho starts in goal after Maduka Okoye was ruled out with a thigh injury sustained in training, Soccernet.ng reports.

The backline has been reshuffled, with Emmanuel Fernandez making his full international debut alongside Igoh Ogbu at centre-back.

Genk’s Yira Sor is also handed his first senior cap, starting on the right side of the attack, while Moses Simon captains the side from the left wing.

Right-Back: Bright Osayi-Samuel

The Fenerbahce defender is the one survivor from the backline that started against Iran. Osayi-Samuel was solid in that 2-1 win and retains his place on the right side of defence.

Centre-Back: Emmanuel Fernandez

Emmanuel Fernandez earns his first cap for the Super Eagles tonight, coming in for Semi Ajayi, who departed camp with a knock picked up during the Iran game. The young defender gets a chance to stake his claim at the heart of the defence.

Centre-Back: Igoh Ogbu

Igoh Ogbu returns to the starting lineup after picking up a knock against Iran that saw him replaced by Chibuike Nwaiwu. Having recovered in time, Ogbu partners Fernandez in central defence tonight.

Left-Back: Zaidu Sanusi

FC Porto’s Zaidu Sanusi comes into the side at left-back, replacing Bruno Onyemaechi, who was granted permission to leave camp to be with his partner following the birth of his child.

Central Midfield: Frank Onyeka

Frank Onyeka comes into the starting eleven, providing energy and ball-winning ability in the middle of the park. The midfielder will be tasked with shielding the new-look defence alongside Onyedika.

Central Midfield: Raphael Onyedika

Raphael Onyedika partners Onyeka in the double pivot tonight, earning a start after being named among the substitutes for the Iran game. The Club Brugge man adds composure and passing quality to the midfield.

Left Wing: Moses Simon (Captain)

Moses Simon wears the armband tonight and starts on the left flank. The experienced winger, who started against Iran, retains his place and takes on the captain’s responsibility for this fixture.

Attacking Midfield: Ademola Lookman

Ademola Lookman will operate in a free role just behind Akor Adams, tasked with unlocking a Jordan defence known for its rigid structure under coach Jamal Sellami.

Right Wing: Yira Collins Sor

Genk forward Yira Collins Sor is handed his first senior cap, starting on the right wing. Sor did not feature against Iran and tonight represents his first chance to show Chelle what he can do at international level.

Striker: Akor Adams

Akor Adams leads the line once again after scoring in the 2-1 victory over Iran. The striker has made himself the first-choice centre-forward in the absence of Victor Osimhen following his impressive performance. A goal tonight would further cement Adams’ place in Chelle’s plans going forward.
