The Super Eagles will continue their push for a 2026 FIFA World Cup ticket next month…
Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika has been passed fit for action and is expected to play for Club Brugge when they face Dender in the Jupiler Pro League this weekend, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onyedika has been out of action since the last week of September, when he suffered a hamstring injury during Club Brugge’s game against Westerlo.
However, last week, Soccernet.ng revealed that the Super Eagles star had returned to light training, meaning that his return was close.

He missed Club Brugge’s 6-1 demolition of Eendracht Aalst in the Beker Van Belgie last weekend.
But ahead of their game against Dender on Saturday, the former Belgian champions have named him in their 21-man squad.
It is unlikely that Onyedika will start, but he could get minutes off the bench so he can regain his match fitness.
Raphael Onyedika’s Return Is A Boost For The Super Eagles
Now that Raphael Onyedika is back and fit, he will likely be part of Nigeria’s squad for the upcoming World Cup playoffs next month.
Although coach Eric Chelle prefers to use Wilfred Ndidi as his starting defensive midfielder, Raphael Onyedika will give him an extra option in the middle of the park and a chance to tweak his tactics depending on the game.
The 24-year-old would definitely be a big boost to the Super Eagles as they head into the games next month.
