The Niger State Police Command has arrested two suspected electric transformer vandals, Idris Garba, 21, and Saifullahi Alkasim, 28, both from Alagbado, Minna, on September 1, 2025. According to a statement by the spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, the suspects were arrested by police operatives of ‘B’ Division Minna, at a transformer spot within the area during an attempt to vandalise the cables, adding that two others escaped.
