The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that members of staff of RUGIPO on Tuesday protested against non-payment of six months salaries. The workers also accused the state government for its failure to implement the national minimum wage. The Dominican Republic on Thursday began the somber process of burying more than 200 victims who lost their lives when the roof of the popular Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo collapsed during a concert earlier this week, AFP reported.
