Animasahun Salman The Sokoto State Government has unveiled a campaign to tackle the recent meningitis outbreak that has affected more than 300 people across the state. The Ekiti State Police Command has taken into custody an officer accused of stabbing a civilian in Ise-Ekiti over an argument between his girlfriend and the man’s son. This development followed the circulation of a viral video in which the victim’s daughter claimed that the officer—allegedly a chairman’s orderly—attacked her father in their home, following a disagreement between her younger brother and a female classmate.
