The Lagos State Government has issued a traffic advisory to aid free movement during the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 10. The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control [NAFDAC], on Wednesday, disclosed that an alarming 14.3 million Nigerians are victims of drug abuse or under the influence of drug addiction. NAFDAC said most of the people who abuse drugs report serious problems such as missing school or work, doing poor jobs at work or school, neglecting their families and children, among other problems, as a result of drug abuse. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released detained social media influencer, Martins Innocent Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). VDM was released to his legal representative, Deji Adeyanju, on Wednesday evening shortly after he raised alarm over the alleged delay in releasing a formal bail document on his client. Nigeria is set to begin exporting locally manufactured military equipment before the end of 2025, marking a major step forward in the country’s push for defence industry self-reliance.
