PSG Women midfielder Rasheedat Ajibade is relishing the club’s perfect start to the new season after they extended their winning run with a 2-0 victory over Strasbourg Women in the second week of the French Women’s top flight at the weekend.

Ajibade was in action for 83 minutes as PSG secured their second consecutive league victory to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.

“+3 points secured with the girls. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit,” Ajibade wrote on Sunday, quoting a Bible verse.

Following an underwhelming end to last season, it has been a perfect start for Ajibade and PSG this term, with the French giants winning their opening two league games and the Nigerian scoring once.

She has also scored once in their Champions League campaign, helping PSG to a 5-1 victory over Frankfurt Women to advance in the competition.

The Nigerian captain will be hoping for a productive 2026/27 campaign and the chance to win her first major silverware with the French giants.

Ajibade joined PSG from Atletico Madrid Women last season but managed only three goals in 23 appearances across all competitions.

The 26-year-old will now be looking to build on her early-season form as PSG pursue domestic and European success this term.
