Ademola Lookman ended his five-month goal drought against against AC MIlan on Tuesday…
Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman has been named in the Serie A Team of the Week for gameweek nine, Soccernet.ng reports.
Lookman ended his five-month goal drought in Atalanta’s Serie A fixture against AC Milan on Tuesday. The Super Eagles star scored in the first half of the game, as he beat Mike Maignan with a wicked piledriver from inside the box. That goal eventually helped his side secure a 1-1 draw.
That goal was Atalanta’s first goal at their home - the Gewiss Stadium - since the start of October. It took them to ninth on the Serie A table.

Asides from his goal, Lookman had a really lively game, with three successful dribbles, an 84 percent pass accuracy, and three key passes.
Per Sofascore, the Super Eagles star was the highest-rated Atalanta player on the pitch.
Following his performance, the Serie A have now included Lookman in their Team of the Week. This is an honour for the best players in their different positions for the gameweek.

Lookman joins an attacking trio that includes Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus) and Federico Bonazzoli (Cremonese).
The midfield is a quartet of Nicolo Zaniolo (Udinese), Zambo Anguissa (Napoli), Hakan Calhanoglu, (Inter Milan), and Samuele Ricci.
The defenders are Mergim Vojvoda (Como), Federico Gatti (Juventus), and Mario Hermoso (AS Roma). Then, the goalkeeper is Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.

Has Ademola Lookman Returned To His Best?
Ademola Lookman had a slow start to the campaign, as he fell out with the club due to their refusal to let him leave last summer. He missed the first few games, but it seems that he is slowly returning to his best.
The last time he scored a goal was five months ago, so that AC Milan goal was really important for him.

Lookman is one player who knows how to build on momentum. So perhaps, that his goal against AC Milan will be the start of good things for him this season.
The Super Eagles star will be looking to continue getting more goal involvements for club and country in the coming weeks.
