A political support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, has set an ambitious target of delivering over 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
The group’s National Director of Strategic Deployment and Implementation, Hon Shedrach Egede, disclosed the target while addressing journalists on Wednesday in Calabar, Cross River State.
Egede, who mobilised supporters to the APC rally held at the U.J. Esuene Stadium, said the group was committed to the re-election of Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu, as well as victory for all APC candidates in 2027.
He said, “We have a target of delivering over 10 million votes for President Bola Tinubu, support Governor Bassey Otu and all APC Candidates in the 2027 presidential election.
“The massive turnout during the APC rally in the state was a demonstration of the grassroots strength and our readiness to strengthen the APC’s base in Cross River State.”
Egede said his mobilisation drive was in line with the strategic mandate entrusted to him by the Chief Founder of RTFN, Barr Seyi Tinubu, and the Director-General, Hon Bala Ahmed.
According to him, RTFN coordinators across the 18 local government areas of the state will intensify mobilisation and political engagement across all 196 political wards to achieve the target.
“The planned mobilisation drive is designed to expand our support base, strengthen community-level political structures and take the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda directly to the people,” Egede said.

He stressed that the group’s mission goes beyond participation in rallies, noting that it is about building a formidable grassroots network and consolidating support across communities.
“It is about ensuring that the growing enthusiasm for President Tinubu, Governor Otu and the APC translates into tangible electoral gains,” he added.
Egede reiterated his determination to contribute meaningfully to the collective efforts towards victory for Tinubu, Otu and all APC candidates in 2027.
The pledge comes amid growing mobilisation by APC support groups in Cross River State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In February 2026, APC leaders in the state, led by Governor Bassey Otu, pledged to mobilise 1.5 million votes for Tinubu in the next presidential election.
The commitment was made at a stakeholders’ meeting in Calabar attended by party leaders, lawmakers and other political stakeholders.
However, the APC did not win the 2023 presidential election in Cross River, as Labour Party candidate Peter Obi polled 179,917 votes against Tinubu’s 130,520.
Otu, on the other hand, won the state governorship election for the APC, securing 258,619 votes.
