The New Nigeria Peoples Party on Monday inaugurated a five-member caretaker committee to take over the affairs of the party for six months in Gombe State.

The five-member caretaker committee is made up of the Chairman; Abdullahi Mohammed, Sulaiman Hamza, Secretary; Abubakar Kalagar, Dauda Muhammad Bajoga, and Ambrose Ismail.
Addressing members shortly after their inauguration, the chairman of the committee called for unity and support.
He said, “It is with great pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I announce the successful inauguration of the new Caretaker Committee for the Gombe State Chapter of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
“This committee has been established to strengthen the party’s structures and foster inclusiveness as we prepare for future political engagements.”
While urging for peace, the caretaker committee chairman called for togetherness.
Also, Coordinator Gombe Central, Abubakar Kalagar, called on members to unite towards making the party stronger.
He added, “They should come to give their perspectives towards moving the party forward. This committee will be holding forth till six months after which Congress will be convened.”
