A political support group, BTO4PBAT2027, has pledged to mobilize grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, citing the ongoing reforms at the Ministry of Interior under Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as a major driver of their campaign.
The group was inaugurated over the weekend in Arigidi Akoko, Akoko Northwest Local Council Area of Ondo State, where it described the 2027 elections as crucial for sustaining President Tinubu’s “transformative leadership.”
Speaking at the event, the group’s Director-General, Adesuyi Adojutelegan, announced that over 350 beneficiaries in the community received cash donations as part of its empowerment initiative.
“The cash empowerment initiative was a key highlight, aimed at addressing immediate community needs and igniting hope among local residents. We believe the cash empowerment will help them cater to their immediate needs,” Adojutelegan said.
He commended President Tinubu for instituting vital economic reforms and infrastructure projects targeted at national development, adding that the support of the Minister of Interior has strengthened the group’s mission.
“With unwavering commitment to the continued progress of our nation, this movement is geared towards the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Adojutelegan also urged eligible youths to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise, stressing that voter participation is key to shaping the future.
“If you just turned 18, it’s time for you to register. Your vote is your right, and you can only participate in the election with your voter card,” he said.
Spokesperson for BTO4PBAT2027, Folajimi Adewumi, praised Tunji-Ojo for his dedication to grassroots development and political mobilization.
“Apart from being a star figure who has spearheaded rapid development in the Interior Ministry, Tunji-Ojo is working tirelessly to secure President Tinubu’s victory in 2027,” Adewumi said.
