Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman has been in the headlines since the start of the month following his move to Atletico Madrid and an impressive debut to follow, Soccernet.ng reports.
Another Super Eagles star who moved during the January transfer window, Umar Sadiq, mentioned that it is a good thing to have another Nigerian attacker in the Spanish La Liga.
Lookman scored a goal and set up another in his first appearance for Los Rojiblancos, and is poised for his La Liga debut later today.

Sadiq: Ex-Rangers man reacts to Lookman’s Atletico move
Umar Sadiq has scored two goals since joining Carlos Corberan’s side in a €3m deal, and has expressed his delight at having another Nigerian attacker in the league.
“I’m glad to see him coming to the La Liga because this is probably the best league in the world,” the former Rangers striker said in an interview with Sporty TV.

“You know, the best league needs the best players, and Ademola Lookman is one of the best players right now.
“It’s time for La Liga to know who he is, and the world also will confirm who he is, and I wish him all the best. I’ll see him soon,” the 29-year-old concluded.

Ademola Lookman [Atletico Madrid], Chidera Ejuke [Sevilla], Akor Adams [Sevilla] and Umar Sadiq [Valencia], are the four Nigerian players in the Spanish top-flight.
