Niger State Police Command has confirmed an attacked by suspected armed robbers on a student lodge at Ndakitabu area of Lapai, in Lapai Local Council of Niger State. In a statement, the spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, said that during the incident, which happened on Monday, June 23, 2025, at about 3 am, the armed robbers stabbed a 200-level student, Jafaar, on the neck.
