In a sustained effort to rid the Federal Capital Territory of illicit drugs and related crimes, officers attached to the Anti-Narcotics Section of the FCT Police Command carried out coordinated raids across identified black spots in the last three weeks and arrested 116 suspects. However, following diligent screening, 89 suspects were released, while the remaining 27 were charged to court for public nuisance and possession of illicit drugs and substances.
