Operatives of the Osun State Security Network Agency, also known as Amotekun Corps, have arrested three men accused of raping three minors in different parts of the state. The arrests were announced yesterday in a statement by the Corps’ Public Relations Officer, Yusuf Abass. The suspects, a teacher, a farmer, and an elderly man, were apprehended after separate incidents. Bauchi state government has dismissed a teacher, Emos Joshua, over alleged sexual harassment, officials said Thursday. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Thursday, said 14 associations seeking to register as political parties have been cleared to proceed to the next stage of the registration process, while 157 others were rejected for failing to meet constitutional and legal requirements.
