The Ondo State Police Command on Saturday said it had arrested two persons for allegedly being involved in ritual activity. According to the command, the two suspects, identified as Maria and Adewale, were arrested in Ile-Oluji town, the headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Oke Igbo Local Government Area of the state. The Ipele community in Owo Local Council of Ondo State was thrown into panic on New Year’s Eve after gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked and set ablaze the Divisional Police Station in the agrarian town.
