The Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, has fixed March 10, 2026, for the hearing of an appeal filed by the Medical Director of Excel Medical Centre, Dr Ferdinand Ejike Orji, challenging his conviction and one-year jail sentence by the Lagos State High Court. Nigeria’s headline inflation rate dropped to 18.02 per cent in September 2025, representing a significant 2.1 percentage point decrease from the 20.12 per cent recorded in August 2025.
