The Academic Staff Union of Universities, Nsukka Zone, has threatened to embark on an indefinite strike at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology if the Enugu State Government fails to implement the 2025 ASUU/Federal Government agreement on lecturers’ remuneration by the end of July. The number of electricity consumers increased by 130,000, from 12.03 million in the third quarter of 2025 to 12.16 million in the fourth quarter of 2025, representing a 1.11 per cent increase.
