The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has passed into second reading the Supplementary Appropriation Bill of N92,150,231,374.88 only for the 2025 fiscal year. The Speaker of the House, Dr Danladi Jatau, announced this during the House proceedings in Lafia, the state capital. Eruku youths in Ekiti local government, Kwara State, on Wednesday took to major streets in the town, protesting the Tuesday late-night attack on the community by armed bandits. A Federal High Court in Abuja has convicted and sentenced a leader of the Islamic State West Africa Province, Hussaini Ismaila, to 20 years’ imprisonment on terrorism charges brought against him by the Department of State Services.
