The Federal Government could not provide sufficient evidence to auditors that N33.75bn in cash transfers meant for more than 3.29 million vulnerable households reached genuine beneficiaries, the Auditor-General for the Federation has said. The United States said Friday it had shot down over 300 drones operated by cartels along the Mexican border since the start of 2026. The US Northern Command (USNORTHCOM)—which covers the United States and neighboring countries—linked the drones to the drug trade, without naming any specific group.
