The list of nominees for this year’s edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) has been released. Uzor Arukwe, Omoni Oboli, and others made the cut. Organisers of the awards which recognises excellence in filmmaking, acting, and content creation released the shortlist on Sunday night. Uzor got the nomination for Best Supporting Actor for Suspicion while Omoni was shortlisted in the Best Supporting Actress for her role in Wives on Strike 3. The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the killing of a Point of Sale (POS) operator, Abbas Yuguda, who was attacked in Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area.
