In a bid to ensure a stable electric power supply in Ondo State, an energy firm, Lincs Power Energy Solutions, has donated a 5-megawatt power project to Ondo town. Healthwise The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, says the state recorded 10 confirmed cases of diphtheria between 1 January and 27 March. Abayomi said in a statement on Sunday that health authorities are intensifying efforts to control the outbreak. He said the outbreak was reported in multiple Local Government Areas, with Eti-Osa being the most affected, recording 44 suspected cases.
