A member of the House of Representatives, Dachung Bagos, has condemned the killing of 12 people in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State by suspected herders. The attack, which occurred on Wednesday, affected five communities and left several others injured. The National Judicial Council has said it didn’t approve the appointment of Justice Theophilus Nzeukwu as the Acting Chief Judge of Imo State. While disassociating itself from the appointment, the NJC said Nzeukwu ranks fourth in the hierarchy of judges in the state. A bomb explosion on Taiwo Street, Idi-Araba, in the Mushin Local Government Area of Lagos State was triggered by a scavenger, Saturday PUNCH has gathered. The explosion claimed the life of the scavenger and left three others injured.
