The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man named Friday Onu, after a video showing him attacking a female commercial driver, Yetunde Amole, on the Lekki-Epe Expressway went viral. Onu was reportedly trying to steal her car battery when the incident happened. This was disclosed in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, on Wednesday. The Federal Executive Council has officially directed the full implementation of the suspended Naira-for-Crude agreement with local refiners. The Ministry of Finance disclosed this on its official X handle titled “Update on the Crude and Refined Product Sales in Naira Initiative,” on Wednesday.
